Meet Our Team

  • Big Kev

    Big Kev is a Nor-Cal native with almost 30 years of backyard and restaurant knowledge and experience. It only takes a few minutes of talking to him to realize just how passionate he is about BBQ. Follow him on Instagram @bigkevbbq530 to find information on his classes and BBQ demos.

  • Sarah

    Sarah is a U.S. Navy veteran, the official taste tester, and book keeper of Cal-Tex BBQ. She grew up with a love of Texas style BBQ and always sought a good beef brisket. Sarah is now exploring a new side of BBQ with Big Kev and is providing her own input into Cal-Tex BBQ rubs.
